“Baked” Apples (Paleo, Dairy Free, Gluten Free)

“Baked” Apples

  • Servings: 1
  • Time: 5 minutes
  • Difficulty: easy

-1 apple, cut into pieces

-1/4 c. coconut oil, melted

-2 tsp. cinnamon

-1 tsp. nutmeg

  1. Melt the coconut oil (about 30 seconds).
  2. Place the apples over the coconut oil.
  3. Top with spices.  Stir to coat.
  4. Place a piece of plastic wrap or a lid over the glass bowl.
  5. Microwave for 2 and a half minutes.
  6. Enjoy!

 

I enjoy eating my apples with a serving of grain free granola.
